This section will be somewhat abbreviated. If you want more information
go to the WA7BNM Contest Calendar and follow his links to the official
rules for each contest.
1. NAQCC CW Sprint. 0130-0330Z Wed (today, Tuesday night local date).
20, 40, 80M CW. 5W maximum power. Exchange: RST + SPC +NAQCC# or
power. Multiply score by 2 for use of a hand key and by 1 1/2 for use
of a bug.
2. QRP Fox Hunt 40M. 0200-0330Z Wed (today, Tuesday night local date).
Two QRP Foxes will be hiding between 7030 and 7050 kHz. Exchange:
RST, SPC, Name, Power. Work only the two foxes and do not spot the
foxes' frequencies. The two foxes are K0DTJ, BRIAN, CA and KV2X, TOM, NY.
3. Phone Fray. Every Tuesday. 0230-0259Z. 15, 20, 40, 80, 160M SSB.
100W maximum power. Exchange: Name + SPC. Mults count per band.
Frequencies suggested: 21325, 14250, 7175, 3800, 1875 kHz.
4. CWOps Club CWT Mini-Tests. Every Wednesday. Three separate
one-hour mini-tests. 1300Z, 1900Z, 0300Z (Thursday UTC date). 160-10M
CW. Exchange: Name + CWOps # or SPC.
5. NCCC RTTY Sprint. 0145Z to 0215Z Friday UTC, Thursday night local
date. 15, 20, 40, 80, 160M RTTY. Exchange: both calls, #, name, SPC.
Dupes OK after one intervening QSO. 100W maxiumum power. Suggested
frequencies 080 on each band except 1805 on 160M.
6. NCCC NS Sprint. 0230-0259Z Friday UTC, Thursday night local date.
15, 20, 40, 80, 160M CW. Exchange: boht calls, #, name, SPC. No duper
permitted. 100W maximum powr. Suggested frequencies: 040 kHz on each
band and up from 1815 kHz on 160M.
7. QRP Fox Hunt 80M Thursday night local date. Same rules as #2 above
for 40M. Even the two foxes are the same. Frequency range: 3550-3570 kHz.
8. OK DX RTTY Contest. 24 hours of Saturday UTC. 80-10M RTTY.
Exchange: RST + CQ Zone. I think you can work everybody.
9. Padang DX Contest. 1200Z Sat to 1159Z Sun. 80-10M SSB. Exchange:
RS + serial #. Work everyone. Mults are YB call areas per band, so
if you don't work a YB-YE station, you score will be zero! Bonus points
for QSOs with YB5C.
10. Croatian CW Contest. 1400Z Sat to 1400Z Sun. 160-10M CW.
Exchange: RST + serial #.
11. ARRL Rookie Round Up. Sunday. 1800Z to 2359Z. 80-6M CW. Maximum
power 100W. Exchange: Name + 2 digit year first licensed + S/P/Mexican
State/"DX." You are a rookie if youer were first licensed in 2016 or
2017. Non Rookies may work for credit only Rookies.
12. Flying Pigs QRP Club December Run for the Bacon. Monday 0200Z to
0400Z (Sunday night local date). 160-10M CW. 5W maximum power.
Exchange: RST + SPC + FP# or power.
13. 40 QRP Fox Hunt. See #2 above. Foxes are scheduled to be WX2S,
Steve, NJ and WC7S, Lee, WY.

16. NAQCC Milliwatt Sprint. Thursday 0130Z to 0330Z (Wed night local
date). Same rules as for the QRP NAQCC Sprint, see #1 above, except
output power must be less than one watt. (I usually try to run 990 mW.)
