1. CWOps Club CWT Mini Tests. Every Wed local date. 1300Z, 1900Z,
0300Z (Thursday UTC date). Three separate one-hour tests. 160-10M CW.
Exchange: Name + CWOps # or SPC. Look around 035 to 052 kHz on the
higher bands and up from 1820 kHz on top band.
2. NCCC RTTY Sprint. Every Thursday night local date. 0145-0215Z
Friday. 15, 20, 40, 80, 160M RTTY. 100W max power. Exchange: both
calls, #, name, SPC. One/one kHz QSY rule. Look around 082 kHz on the
higher bands and up from 1805 kHz on 160M. Same band dupes OK after one
intervening QSO.
3. NCCC NS Sprint. Every Thursday night local date. 0230-0259Z
Friday. 15, 20, 40, 80, 160M CW. 100W max power. Exchange: both
calls, #, name, SPC. One/one kHz QSY rule. Look around 040-045 kHz on
the higher bands and up from 1815 kHz on 160M. No same band dupes permitted.
4. K1USN Slow Speed Test (SST). Every Friday afternoon 2000-2100Z.
160-20M CW. Maximum speed 20 WPM. Exchange: Name + SPC. You can use
your NAQP CW contest module, but you will need to adjust the scoring for
any countries worked outside NA (add to your mult total per band).
5. All Asia (AA) DX Contest, CW. 48 hours of weekend UTC. 160-10M CW.
Exchange: RST + age (YLs may send "00"). Work only Asian stations.
This time of the year, JA stations can be very loud on 20M around
1230-1500Z.
6. SMIRK Club Contest. 48 hours of weekend UTC. 6M CW, Phone.
Exchange: 4 character grid square + SMIRK# (optional).
7. Battle of Carabobo International Contest. 24 hours of Saturday UTC.
80-10M Phone. Exchange: RS + serial # or Venezuela state. Work everyone.
8. Ukrainian DX Classic RTTY Contest. 1200Z Sat to 1159Z Sun. 80-10M
RTTY. Exchange: RST + serial # or two-letter Ukrainian oblast. Work
everyone.
9. IARU Region One (Europe) 50 mHz Contest. 1400Z Sat to 1400Z Sun. 50
mHz CW, SSB. Exchange: RS(T) + QSO# + 6 character grid square. (If
you don't know your 6-character grid square, you can get the one for
your mailing address under "Detail" on QRZ.com under your call.
10. Stew Perry Top Band Challenge. 1500Z Sat to 1500Z Sun. 14 hours
max operating time. 160M CW. Exchange: 4-character grid square. There
are power multipliers.
11. West Virginia QSO Party. 1600Z Sat to 0400Z Sun. 80-10M CW, SSB,
Dig. Exchange: RS(T) + SPC or WV county. Bonus station: W8WVA.
Suggested CW frequencies: up 45 kHz. SSB: 3825, 7185, 14250, 31300,
28450 kHz.
12. ARRL Kids Day Contest. 1800-2359Z Sat. 80-10M SSB + 2M repeaters.
Exchange: Name + age + favorite color.
13. WAB (Worked All Britain) 50 mHz Phone Contest. 0800Z to 1400Z
Sunday. 6M SSB. Exchange: RS + wrial # + country. UK stations send
RS + serial # + WAB square.
14. Flying Pigs QRP Club June Run for the Bacon. 2300Z Sun to 0100Z
Mon. 160-10M CW. 5W max power. Exchange: RST + SPC + FP# or power.
If you are on 40M in this one and the time goes over to 0000Z, the
higher power SST stations tend to cover up the QRP stations. In that
case, you might want to try up around 7122 kHz during the second hour.
Will not be much of a conflict on the other bands.
15. K1USN Slow Speed Test (SST). 0000-0100Z Mon (Sunday night local
date). See #4 above.
16. Straight Key Century Club (SKCC) June Week Day Sprint. 0000-0200Z
Wed (Tuesday night local date). 160-6M CW. Use a mechanical key
(straight key, bug, cootie). Exchange: RST + SPC + Name + SKCC# or
"NONE." Bonus station is WB0PYF, Ray, in MO.
17. CWTs. See #1 above.
