Well, I am hoping to achieve the same as K8ND, for similar reasons, but it now appears that his setup uses Softrock 3kHz audio which I hadn't previously realised. I want a wider bandwidth.

My setup works fine switched between OmniRig rigs 1 or 2 - but perhaps interestingly only when I set it up by directly editing the .ini file.

I will try VSPE - hoping that the 32bit version will work as I am a bit loath to buy it if it won't solve the problem.

In CW Skimmer's Settings, under the CAT tab, you indicate which OmniRig radio is the SDR that you want CW Skimmer to use, either OmniRig Rig 1 or OmniRig Rig 2. This is only applicable when you select radio type SoftRock-IF or 3 kHz Audio. OmniRig supports multiple programs all at the same time, no problem, and there should only be one instance of OmniRig running, and one OmniRig.ini file.  COM0COM and OmniRig may not always work well together.  You might try VSPE instead, with one unique serial port for each SDR.

So far so good. Each installation interfaces and works properly individually, and each installation selects its own .ini file. However, whilst Omnirig works well, I can't see how to have separate instances for each of the skimmers. (The installations each have a separate pair of virtual ports between receiver and skimmer.) The effect of this is that I load one installation and all is well, load the second and it takes the Omnirig parameters from the first installation and of course doesn't properly connect.

Help!
