The ongoing proton storm >10 MeV (10+0) event peaked at 72.9 pfu on June 7,
2011 at 1820 UTC and continues to weaken. This morning UTC the daily sunspot
number (SSN) has fallen to 58 and the daily solar flux index (SFI) to 94.8.
We can expect the daily sunspot number and solar flux index to continue to
fall this week.
