DISCUSSION OF DAILY SOLAR SPACE AND GEOMAGNETIC WEATHER-

Solar activity is low as far as the emergence of the number of new sunspot 
groups. Currently there are 4 numbered and 3 new un-numbered sunspot group.

Solar activity is very low (1 solar flare) as far as the number of new solar 
flares and their magnitude. The largest solar flare in the past 24 hour 
period was a small B6.

The daily solar flux index (SFI) had languished below 100 for 5 consecutive 
days, currently at 102.7.

The daily sunspot number (SSN) has languished below 100 for 16 consecutive 
days, currently at 47.

The geomagnetic field had been quiet for 4 consecutive days with the Kp 
(planetary) index in the 0-2 range. The following are the 24 hour 3 hour Kp 
(planetary) intervals 00000011. That's almost as quite as the geomagnetic 
field can be.

The Dst ranged between -11 and 12.
