DISCUSSION OF DAILY SOLAR SPACE AND GEOMAGNETIC WEATHER- 
Solar activity is low as far as emergence of the number of new sunspot groups. Currently there are 14 numbered and 4 un-numbered sunspot groups. Solar activity is moderate as far as the number of new solar flares and their magnitude. The largest solar flare in the past 24 hour period was a small size C1.9. 

The daily sunspot number (SSN) has been at 100 or higher for 5 consecutive days, currently at 196. Tentatively this is the second highest daily sunspot number (SSN) of solar cycle 24. Also the geomagnetic field has been quiet for 21 consecutive days, with the Kp (planetary) index in the 0-2 range.
