DISCUSSION OF DAILY SOLAR SPACE AND GEOMAGNETIC WEATHER-

Solar activity is low as far as emergence of the number of new sunspot
groups. Currently there are 11 numbered and 5 un-numbered sunspot groups.
Solar activity is low as far as the number of new solar flares and their
magnitude. The largest solar flare in the past 24 hour period was a small
size C4.

The daily sunspot number (SSN) has been at 100 or higher for 6 consecutive
days, currently at 144. Also the geomagnetic field has been quiet for 22
consecutive days, with the Kp (planetary) index in the 0-2 range. That is an
amazing statistic.
