DISCUSSION OF DAILY SOLAR SPACE AND GEOMAGNETIC WEATHER- 
Solar activity is moderate as far as emergence of the number of new sunspot groups. Currently there are 9 numbered and 5 un-numbered sunspot groups. Solar activity is moderate (12) as far as the number of new solar flares and their magnitude. The largest solar flare in the past 24 hour period was a moderate sized M1.2. 

The daily sunspot number (SSN) has been at 100 or higher for 8 consecutive days, currently at 145. The geomagnetic field has been quiet for 24 consecutive days, with the Kp (planetary) index in the 0-2 range. The following are the 8 3 hour Kp intervals 00000001.
