DISCUSSION OF DAILY SOLAR SPACE AND GEOMAGNETIC WEATHER-

Solar activity is low as far as emergence of the number of new sunspot
groups. Currently there are 8 numbered and 2 un-numbered sunspot groups.

Solar activity is moderate (13) as far as the number of new solar flares and
their magnitude. The largest solar flare in the past 24 hour period was a
medium sized M1.7.

The daily sunspot number (SSN) has been at 100 or higher for 11 consecutive
days, currently at 156. The geomagnetic field has been quiet for 26
consecutive days, with the Kp (planetary) index in the 0-2 range. The
following are the 8 3 hour Kp (planetary) intervals 21010011.

Radio wave propagation conditions on the MF and HF bands is good.
