DISCUSSION OF DAILY SOLAR SPACE AND GEOMAGNETIC WEATHER-

Solar activity is low as far as emergence of the number of new sunspot 
groups. Currently there are 7 numbered and 4 un-numbered sunspot groups.

Solar activity is moderate (12) as far as the number of new solar flares and 
their magnitude. The largest solar flare in the past 24 hour period was a 
small C6.

The daily sunspot number (SSN) has been at 100 or higher for 12 consecutive 
days, currently at 126.

The streak of 26 consecutive days with a quiet geomagnetic field, a Kp 
(planetary) index in the 0-2 range came to an end. The Kp reached a 4 which 
is an active geomagnetic field. The following are the 8 3 hour Kp 
(planetary) intervals 21112334.
