DISCUSSION OF DAILY SOLAR SPACE AND GEOMAGNETIC WEATHER-
Solar activity is low as far as emergence of the number of new sunspot 
groups. Currently there are 3 numbered and 5 new un-numbered sunspot groups.

Solar activity is very low (0 solar flares) as far as the number of new 
solar flares and their magnitude. The largest solar flare in the past 24 
hour period was a very small B7. Basically the background x-ray flux has 
flat lined in the B range.

The daily sunspot number (SSN) has languished below 100 or higher for 10 
consecutive days, currently at 44.

The geomagnetic field had been quiet for 3 consecutive days with the Kp 
(planetary) index in the 0-2 range. However due to a geo-effective (earth 
facing) coronal hole the geomagnetic field has been at unsettled to 
disturbed (Kp-3-4) levels. The following are the 24 hour 3 hour Kp 
(planetary) intervals 01110223. For the past 9 hours 423xxxxx.
