Well, well. I thought I got my carrier oscillators just right
(by ear). SB-N sounds about the same as SB-R, and I was able
to get the CW position to center on 750 Hz with the 250 Hz
filter inserted. Thought it was great. Slipped in an 8 pole
SSB filter for the main filter and felt I had a real radio....

I put it on the air, and though SSB has no problem, I can't
get more than about 28 watts output on CW with the drive turned
all the way up. SSB normal. Geez. What might I have done here?
Any guesses? I went in and pushed in all the connectors, crystals,
etc., for bad contact. I slid the power button up and down a few
times. No change. ALC control won't light up the light in Lock
or CW position and max out is under 30. Darn.
