        Take Ten-Tec up on the 30 day test, if you like it(which I know my
wife would kill me if I sold OUR Omni VI), I'm sure there are a bunch of
guys wearing those stupid Yaesu hats willing to buy your rig. Please don't
get me wrong, the FT-1000 is a great rig, however I prefer a good receiver
over gadgetry and seldom used knobs and buttons.  Besides when you talk to
the guys at Ten-Tec it's like talking to family!
