Steve and Chris,

	FT1000 and FT1000MP (they are completely different beasts!) are good rigs
(Chris, I don't think I'd go as far as to say "great" rigs),but, they still
can't hold a candle to the Ten Tec product. Ten Tec's rx performance IMHO
is streets ahead of ALL the rice boxes. This is a users point of view - I
don't have thousands and thousands of £'s ($'s) worth of test equipment to
back that statement up, just a pair of ears that find the Ten Tec rigs the
best available tool for hearing and working the weak ones - so there!

	If you take Ten Tec up on their 30 day offer you won't be handing the
radio back, promise! (I wish the Omni VI was available over here!!)
