[TenTec] Jupiter display backlight

I have found out that many "large" companies fail to continue support of
their product! Example: Hewlett-Packard fails to support their Pavilion
Desktop PC Model 8578C. The combination modem/sound card D7313A
(HP-5184-3448) is no longer supported, in fact, HP quit supporting it while
my unit was still under the first year warranty. After months of
information and support seeking from HP, HP tells me to go out and buy
individual PCI modem card, and PCI sound card and install them in the PCI
slots. They couldn't or wouldn't recommend available cards which would be
suitable. This unit was purchased new in Nov 99 and failed in Jul 00....the
computer has been inoperable during all this time.
I find it hard to believe that a company of Hewlett Packard stature could
leave their customers in a lurch like this...but they do!
