I haven't measured it with a QRP wattmeter, Bob...mainly because I
haven't assembled the kit yet! But T-T rates the output at 0-100 watts
and you have measured it at one watt, so I'm pretty sure that it will
go down to five watts reliably.
I'm tempted by the 756 Pro, as well as by the FT-1000D or MP...a lot of
both get taken on DXpeditions, so they must have something going.
This discussion goes around from time to time, and I'm glad to hear
some comparisons with the Japanese top-of-the-line radios and the Omni
6+ in terms of CW operation, which is the reason that a lot of us who
bought the 6+ did so.
