Same thing for the Jupiter and every other software-based product that
benefits by being computer-savvy person to upgrade.

I don't remember any of those posts being proven to point to the software
itself, but rather user error and user problems trying to upload via
Windows ME with weird virtual serial ports and USB/Serial cables, etc.,
causing the upload to go awry.


Even with all this, I use the latest and greatest software that comes
available - I use Mozilla 1.6b which was released 4 days ago.  Beta is
good.


For those who want to stay with older software, that's great, but the
TenTec offerings aren't built on the basis of a given release being "The
One".  If you want to stick with the older software, by all means enjoy it
but for those who want the latest and greatest, go for it.


I really don't want anyone to interfere with the releases of new code as
features and fixes come available.
