Thanks for the great information and sharing your experience. My thing is SSb 
on 20 - 10. It does seem to me that a lot of folks like ORION on CW and on 
LOW bands (160) . I do't even have an antenna for 160.

On 20 SSB, ( I also work the DX nets on 20) the ORION does not copy the 
signals as CLEARLY as my $ 1400 746 PRO. This is disturbing to me. I will get it 
back  from TT on Wednesday, so I will be learning / using it again soon.

A lot of people seem to like it, so I'm giving it a chance. What is your 
experience on normal every day SSB?
