[TenTec] Omni 6+ Input vs Output power?

THANKS CARL for correcting me.

I apologize for misleading people (in my previous post on this
topic) by still living in the past.

To be honest, I've had Omni V / VI / V+ since the day each was
announced and I never noticed that it had changed from my older
Omni's.
Each time the rig shut down, I turned both Tcvr and P.S. off -
just as I always have in the past.

Rick,

With the Omni V, Paragon, Paragon II, Omni VI, Jupiter, and
Orion, there is
overcurrent protection built into the radio.  The radio will
automatically
reduce its own drive to prevent the final current from going
above a set
threshold.  The older Omni A and Omni D did not have this
protection.  Also
the Pegasus does not have this over current protection.
