Hello Charles - Slide the rubber part of the tuning knob off - This 
exposes 2 set screws that must be removed with an allen wrench - remove 
the knob and look at the back - It becomes self-explanatory - Basically 
you hold the skirt of the knob while turning the main knob - this 
changes the drag placed against the panel - a quick shot of "tri-flow" 
may be needed on the encoder shaft
