[TenTec] Corsair 560 alignment

I have a Corsair that was given to me. The rcvr sensitivity seems blah, 
some sigs on 20 and 30 meters, thats it
Puts out full power. I plan to check things starting at the speaker 
working to the antenna. Are there any GOTGHA's I should look out
for?
I will use the rig for CW and maybe PSK in the future.
Are there any of the narrow filters available other than new?
