Try SDR# with RTL-SDR and up converter with noise bridge. Tap the IF of 
my old corsair.
or any radio. The SDR have changed the world of radio for me. Very slick 
when used with
the FT-890 70 Mhz 455 IF and the Corsair 9 and 6.3 Mhz IF. Next is 
hooking it to the OMNI VII.
You get to keep all the knobs and switches and get to see whats going  
on in the radio
