[TenTec] OT: need help with a translation

I am preparing a document in English to be distributed world-wide.

I won my first mini-battle earlier today in getting the German authors to
concede to use US-English rather than British English.

Let's see, there are 680,000 US hams and 58,500 UK hams.
(was an easy sell)

 Hi Rick,
I see "Diploma" scroll by in comments on the DX Cluster a lot. I have always
assumed it means the same thing as what we call a certificate in the states.
I suppose the right word to use will depend on what languages you're
translating to and from.
"When in Rome..."

GM guys,

I'm helping translate documents for the sponsors of World Radio Team
Contesting (WRTC) 2018.

I am stuck on a word and need help from you guys.

Whenever we work and achieve an award such as WAS or WAC or DXCC, etc., what
do we call that.

We receive a certificate to hang on our wall.

Do we call it an "award", a "certificate", or a "diploma"?

I chase other things; certificates that say 1st Place CQ WW DX Contest. ;-)

Tnx in advance for the support.
