Ten Tec did in fact change the parts in the Jupiter. They did the same 
for the Scout, too. Some Scouts have bipolar devices, newer ones had 
MOSFETs.
They were very lacked in updated the manuals

someone attempting a repair using either parts they had on hand or what 
they could purchase easily.   I could be way off here and TT did an 
update and never revised the BOM/manual.
