TopBand: Percipitation Static

The recent comments on the KT-34XA reminded me of something else.

I wonder if anyone else has used wire antennas or Beverages made with a
Anti-Percipitation Static jacket?  The APS wire I use was initially
developed for rural telephone lines and later used on airplanes. It comes
in #12 or #10 solid copperweld and works quite well.  Real strong and
lasts forever.
