>From The Daily DX:

The 59(9) DX Report says that a multi-national group will operate
from Thahtay Kyun Island (AS-NEW), Myanmar during mid-January. The
operation will include two or three weekends with special call sign
XZ0A. Operators include N7MB, G3VMW, G3NOM, AF7O, K7WX, OH1RX, N5IA,
WA6CDR, NA7DB, KM5EP, K6KRE, EA5XX, W8AEF, OH2BH and K7ZV. Several
of these operators are from the XZ1N DXpeditions. Look for an all
band effort on CW, SSB, RTTY and SSTV. The island is located in
the Andaman Sea, is located at 9 57' North, 98 32' East and is 1,800
acres in size. Being on an island should be a great advantage for
receiving on the low bands so this will give Milt, N5IA and Robin,
WA6CDR a much quieter location.

(WOW! Great news for any who missed the two previous XZ1N operations!
This island is at the extreme southern tip of Myanmar's territory on
the Malay Peninsula and should provide excellent propagation for both
sunrise and sunset long paths to NA East Coast on 160-40!...de W4ZV)
