Topband: Drake R4C

Top Banders,

What is the serial number information on the Drake R4C that will allow
the Sherwood
up grade?  This to get a superior 160 meter receiver
 It is my understanding that below a certain number the R4C will not
convert.
There is one for sale that I am wondering about.
