Any flexible coaxial line will go bad in soil that gets wet
if it is not direct burial cable. Direct burial cables have
a goo inside that displaces moisture. Solid metal shield
cables with bonded foam also last a long time under ground,
like heliax cables. I've had good luck with regular Andrews
heliax when buried. It has a solid copper tube shield and
the dielectric is bonded to the copper shield and center, so
moisture cannot migrate. Anything else is a risk.

I'd never use a flexible cable without flooding under
ground.

There is sometimes some confusion about non-contaminating
jackets. Non-contaminating has to do with chemicals in the
jacket migrating into the cable over time, not with
moisture ingress.
