I believe that is called "wetting" the contacts. You'll need either
RF chokes or perhaps--if you used higher voltages--you could use resistors
chosen to get a few ma of current. Memory tells me it doesn't take
much, but I don't know where I read about doing that for electronic
"contact cleaning".
For Rx antennas I use small sealed relays and have had no problem. How
tightly they are actually sealed I don't know. I have also had good luck,
so far, with latching relays which really simplify pattern switching.
