Topband: Is the beverage working, asked the newbie to 160?

Well, let's see. 250 feet point NNW, unterminated.  5 ticks and 20 mosquito
bites from the woods from Wednesday afternoon's installation.

Not hearing much on 160 or 80 last night.  At 2300 local tonight, I fired up
the rig on 15 meters, could not hear any of the JA's on my 2 element 5-band
hex beam at 45 feet.  Turned on the beverage, and BAM!  5x5 copy of several
JA stations.

Well, SOMETHING is working.  Maybe not what I had intended.  Perhaps I need
a longer run of wire.  Or maybe better yet, just leave the thing alone since
it seems to be working just fine on 15 meters where I can use it now.

Now I need a longer bev pointed at Europe.
