Note the date. This argument about the JT65 modes happened on the EME 
lists that long ago.

I can't seem to find a mention of a DX window in either the R1 or R3 
IARU bandplans.

  I do see R3 puts digital at 1830-1834 and R1 at 1838(1840)-1843
