     Thank you for sending me that string.  It was very interesting.  There 
     certainly seem to be some people in this circle who know what they are 
     talking about.  You may want to pass this on for general info so that 
     everyone understands fully why the Navaho Vario is not considered a 
     fall arrest harness.  Regulations dictate that any harness to be used 
     for fall arrest be a full body harness.  This applies to work and 
     rescue situations only.  As such, even climbing harnesses can't be 
     considered fall arrest harness for W & R applications, even though 
     climbers regularly take falls in them.  The only way a harness can be 
     for fall arrest for W & R applications is for it to be a full body 
     harness.  This has nothing to do with the strength of the harness.  It 
     is simply a design requirement that has been set down.  Let me know if 
     you'd like one of our W & R catalogs.
