[TowerTalk] Tailtwister Problem

The mast binding can be diagnosed very easily by loosening
the mast clamp on the rotor and spinning the array by hand.
We had mast binding problems on two towers at W6UE
due to thrust bearing misalignment. In both cases a sector
of the antennas azimuth rotation coverage was effectively
locked out. This can easily be confused with rotator problems,
so its probably worth a quick check before you take the rotator
down and apart.

nothing to do with your problem. Given the assumption that your antenna
used to turn and nothing has changed to cause the mast to bind, my bet is
that you have chewed several teeth off the ring gear inside your t2x.

point where the driving gear doesn't engage with the ring gear due to
sheared off teeth.
