When mobiling in my camp trailer, I used to have a hustler mobile whip
mounted on it.  On 75 meters, I had a 60 foot piece of wire hooked under
the resonator and it made it play like gang-busters!  Sticking a wire
under the beam on top of a tower would probably do the same thing.  73
