Tim,

I would opine that (in the many years since the log- yagi concept appeared)
commercial and home-brew designers have been successful (using software) in
designing "regular" monobanders with very good gain and FB bandwith - much
lower weight and wind profile, too.

For many years, however, several commercial tribanders have been using the
log-yagi concept albeit employing a single log cell.
