Nice additional point. However, you can also use both plastic
tubing of an approriate size and cut your spaces about 1/2" long,
or, as I do on my gamma matches when I may be using 3/8" gamma
rod, simply add electircal tape around the rod until it make a
moveable but tight squeeze. AND SEAL BOTH ENDS!!!!!!
