[TowerTalk] rotor trouble

Ham 4.  While rotating from north to south through east the rotor
stopped  at SE and would not go  further. I was able to  rotate it  the
other direction through east to north  on to west and south but will not
rotate back from south to west to north etc. . Ham 4 rotates to the left
but will not rotate to the right.  Any help/ideas. Broken wire?? Which
one?
