[TowerTalk] In search of help for an old CDR rotor

I'm having difficulties with an old CDR rotor TR-44, control unit Series 3.
Maybe the forum can help me.

The problem is that it takes some considerable time before it starts to
move, either direction.
We are talking about some 5 minutes before a slow movement is noticeable.
Thereafter I can use the rotor almost as normal. Should I not use it for
another 5 min, I have to repeat what I would describe as the 'heat up
procedure'

I'm using the rotor for light duty VHF purposes so no heavy load.
The rotor is quite old (slight understatement here...) bought in the early
70ish.
I suspect that the motor capacitor of 130MFD 50VAC has dried up a bit.

The CDR old p/n for the capacitor is 50040-00. Any ideas of where to find
such 'animal'?
Who represents CDR today, if any?

Best regards and thanks for a great forum
