Exact same method I used for many years, with no problems at all ... I put a
1/4" aircraft cable in the bundle as a "carrier" ... don't think that was
necessary, but made me feel good .. used professional quality (black) zip
locks at 3' intervals.  Also, this method really helps in high speed winds
that are trying to blow the cables into the tower sections... you can pull
them out to safe distance as the tower is being lowered ... or raised ...
worky worky.
