[TowerTalk] Power Pole Responses--Thanks

Hi Guys,

Thanks to everyone who responded to my post about placing a corner of 160M 
loop near a power pole.

The consensus is:  If the power line is clean, you can get close to it; if 
it it dirty, being a mile away won't help--the noise is proportional to the 
square of the distance.  One ham has his running parallel 30' below the 
power line with no problems.  A loop is a real killer and quieter that a 
dipole.
