Very true.
One thing we, as consumers, might do is time our calls to not be at peak
times.
We all know what the peak times are: They're the times WE are most likely
to be calling them ourselves:
Right at the opening bell
At lunchtime
Just after getting home from work
Consider calling at 'off' times. That might ease things for all concerned.
