LMR600 will work for a while as a rotor loop. The longer term problem is that
the solid aluminum (copper clad) center conductor will work harden with
repeated flexing and will eventually fracture. LMR400 has the same problem.
Both sizes are available with a stranded copper center coductor that will
stand up to repeated flexing. The price is higher and loss is just slightly
higher than the solid center conductor version.

A lot of us use remote switches for h.f. so a good design is to use the solid
center version from the shack to the switch then use stranded center coax on
to the various antennas.

Naturally the coax and swithches are available at Texas Towers, 1 800 272
3467.
