I apologize if this is a double posting, it didn't appear to "get
through" on the first attempt.

------------

Lately I've been experiencing static/burst type noise, so this morning I
finally started to do a little detective work. My initial worry was
that the source of the noise was my neighbors electronic dog fence.
Fortunately that isn't the case. The culprit is an Ameritron RCS-4
antenna switch. This is the switch that the control voltage uses the
center conductor of the coax.

Before I tear into this, I thought I'd ask if anyone has experienced a
similar problem and has already solved it for me? Otherwise, I'll take
it to work and see where the noise is coming from.

Thanks in advance for suggestions and help.

btw, assuming a manual and schematic came with it when I ordered, it has
been misplaced. If anyone has either or both of the above, I'd
appreciate hearing from you. I'll be glad to reimburse you for expenses
to get a copy of them.
