One of the things that got me interested in the ARRL Phone SS (AM phone not SSB) was the operation by W6FRW at W6AM. It appears he operated in 1954 and 55 along with 1956. He ran away with the phone SS. I also remember working W6AM mobile in Field day a couple of times. The RME ads with his station were famous! Dave K4JRB
