Well Todd
I have seen this topic debated several times with just as many opinions.Living in the state of Florida with high water table and high humidity,I can only give you my opinions due to local conditions here .Yours may be different.Having run many thousands of feet of feeders(some encased in concrete)multiple runs of both low and high voltage underground I can say that we never put drain holes in any conduit Pvc or Hard pipe.Always use the proper primer & glue for your application,Larger PVC conduit requires different glue.On some RARE ocassions we have pitched the piping in one direction, but when your 5' down in a trench in a box and a well point running to keep out the water.,the first thing on my mind
is to get it done as best as possible then get back out to go home to the family.I say seal em up and forget about it.Most of the replacement/repulls of UG feeders I've done have been due to electrical or burn damage, not water infiltration.Just my $.02 cents Good luck.

> I have seen in many previous posts about buried PVC for coax runs, and that some people have drilled holes in the bottom of the PVC to allow for drainage for any kind of condensation within the pipe. My question is whether this would allow for water to seep in under conditons of heavy rains where the ground is saturated. I would think this would happen even if you put rocks at the bottom of the trench to allow for some water to drain. If you have any input on this I would appreciate it.
