[TowerTalk] HOW TO JOIN HARD LINE

HI TT'S:

 HAPPY NEW YEAR

As a present Santa Claus  in shape of my friend K6EG  give me  a few pieces of hard line  end's of the spool   around 50-60 feet each 
the new version of 1 5/8   aluminum and copper also  other of the commscope  1 5/8 aluminum jacket   center copper with a fiber glass rod at the center
will like to joint  a few pieces to use in my station
any idea how  can make it ? CHEAP or HOMEBREW,  have no the money to buy the original splice 
any advice will  be appreciated
