In the old days I did that many times and never had a problem.
Now I have 3 metal suppliers within 25 miles and the one farthest away
will deliver. They'll even deliver relatively small orders free if I'm
willing to wait until they have a larger load coming this way. That and
they are about 30% cheaper than the local supplier.
