Interesting Post!
About 20 years ago I took down a 230' Rohn 35 tower with low-band antennas - a phased 4-bay 49mz stack.
Yes it was an odd-ball faced sized tower, made for Motorola. The tower was divided into two towers, with the buyers knowing what they were buying.
One buyer had the top section, the other buyer had a Homebrew Flat-Top fabricated.
The face size is different from a 25G or 45G, not combatable with either.
The stacking joints were swagged, like a 25G
I have not seen one since.
Sorry no information available, other than memories.
Thanks N 73,
James

The "official name"of it from Rohn,,, was HW ...Made exclusely for Motorola in the 60's.. It is on a 15 inch face,,, and should be treated as Rohn
25G...
DO NOT treat it as 45,, it is not that strong.. the leg diameter and gauge is same as 25G The zig zag bracing is same as 25G Rohn 45 is on a 18 inch face,, and 25 on a 12 inch face.... But,, A very good tower....It is hard to find... 73 GL,, Dan N4GNR

Does anyone have documentation for this tower? I called Rohn, they don't have it any more. Tower was produced exclusively for Motorola years ago,
there are a number of them around.
