January 1990 QST, Hinks and Kinks, page 44, has two home brew ways to build anti-climbing panels. 

IIRC, there was also another article, before 1990 IIRC, maybe in a different magazine, where the author used exterior grade plywood, painted the sheets, and used angle to create a "hook" to attach to the horizontal bracing.

Is it really that common? Funny that I have never seen one.



Relative to legal intimidation and municipalities. One of the most
effective tools is to get educated in the background, but represent
yourself. The opposing side ringing up the costs vs the homeowner who has
nothing but time and no costs to persist is one of the most valuable tools
in the system. Add to that legal standing and federal pre-emption rights
and it would seem that an acceptable deal should be able to be accomplished
if there are no screaming close neighbors.



I think space separation is the best defense in ham tower situations.
