Sure enough...when it does not work, tr ports says: com 1 03f8, com2 03e8,
com3 02e8,com4 0000-- program will use 02e8. It is probabily this conflict
with c3 that shuts the radio on c3 down. When it works tr-ports says
03f8,02f8,03f8,02e8. I have tried so hard to get some consistant
information on what makes it start and what makes it quit, but the only
consistant thing is that it is not consistant. At this moment, it will not
run no matter what I do. I can shut off all the comm ports, re-install them
and it still is as the first list. When I look at the comm ports with
windows it shows the second set of numbers (the ones that work) but when I
shut down and go to dos I see the first set. Is there not some config. file
for dos that you can put the dos comm port parameters into?? Thanks for
your patience...John
